The idiocy continues! This is where the fan in my bedroom was installed. Note that there is no wood showing?
That's because the entire fan was installed by attaching the metal plate to the drywall, then screwing 2 little
screws horizontally into that plate, much the way a light fixture globe is usually held on. Paul literally unscrewed
2 screws and the fan fell off the ceiling into his hands. What's worse, he's since discovered that the beam is less than
1 inch from the hole; no one ever even bothered to check!
